"Hope For The Hopeless"

Derrick Sheppard and Lexie Grey are flipping a coin to determine whether to do a surgery or not.

Meredith Grey is making a birthday cake for Zola with yay Zola written on it. April Kepner comes down complaining someone used all her deodorant. A strange woman is in the kitchen, she says she had a work out last night. April looks at Avery who says not mine. Alex comes in looking for coffee. They are out. The woman says they are out of OJ too. Alex says oh you're still here. The woman says she was on her way out but she saw these cute little cheeks. She bends over towards Zola. Meredith grabs Zola and tells her not to touch the baby because she doesn't know where those hands have been. Meredith leaves saying party is at 8. Alex and the girl head back upstairs and April tells Jackson Avery we really need to move.

Henry is in the ER still coughing up blood. Miranda Bailey and Owen Hunt are working on him.

Arizona Robbins has a kid with half his face torn off coming in.

Christina Yang, Meredith Grey and Alex Karev are at the bar. Christina and Meredith are laughing at Alex because some girl he was trying to pick up told him to go screw himself. Alex evidently had already slept with this girl and forgot about it. Meredith, I have a history of Alzheimer's in my family what's your excuse? Alex blames it on George. He said they were talking about dead people it threw him off his game.

Meredith Grey and Derek are in bed talking about going to meet the judge in 36 hours. They have a crib set up in the bedroom.

Avery and Lexie meet in the hall she missed him this morning. Mark is on the elevator when Lexie gets on. Things are still awkward between her and Avery. Mark Sloan is pumped about doing a cross facial nerve graph.

Seattle Grace now has a ball team? LOL Meredith and Christina Yang are laying out in right field. Meredith tells Christina and Alex they have bugged Janet to death and still know nothing about Zola.

Derek Sheppard is pitching. Mark Sloan is kissing a new girlfriend named Julia Canner. An Ophthalmologist from Seattle Press. Bailey is in center field. Hunt appears to be coach. Lexie is batting. Callie, Teddy and the Chief are behind the fence.

I must say I wasn't wow'd by this episode but here goes.

Meredith Grey is sorting clothes. Derrick comes in and says I guess I should take the crib down. Meredith says no she is just sorting out the clothes Zola has out grown. Derrick, we haven't heard anything in weeks. Meredith, Janet said it would take a while.

Christine Yang is dancing and cooking in her kitchen. Owen comes in and says you don’t cook. Christina, sometimes I do I cooked these almost entirely with my left hand. Teddy told her the best cardio surgeons have two dominant hands. So she is training. Owen takes a bite of eggs and picks some eggshell out.

"Take the Lead"

I wonder if Christina went through with the abortion?

The show starts out with Chief Webber saying the 5th year residents today start rotating in as lead surgeons. Mark Sloan, we've got a lot of standing around to do today. Callie, We've alerted the morgue. Chief Webber only help when you absolutely have to. Bailey, before you help them swim let them sink a little.

The Chief then resigns in the morning staff meeting, and tells the doctors Owen Hunt is the new Chief of Surgery.  Everyone wants to know what happened. Derrick asks if it was the board that forced him to resign? Teddy says yea for Owen. Bailey sits silent not looking too happy.

Finally the new season begins!

I forgot half of what was going on it's been so long. I hope we get more than a couple of episodes before the reruns start.

Grey's Anatomy Tonight

What? A rerun again. They are killing me! I want to know what happened to Callie, Arizona and Mark's baby. It looked like in the preview Callie is going to be okay, I hope that's true.

What the heck is going on? Why are we only getting a new episode every third week?

I need to know stuff, like what is going on with all the newly paired up couples. Alex Karev and Lucy Fields, Teddy Altman and Henry, Lexie Grey and Jackson Avery. And what is April Kepner going to do about Dr. Stark.

Did you all notice in the song between Eli and Bailey, Eli was singing about diamonds and getting down on one knee. Is he going to propose?

Arizona kept saying I asked her to marry me and a truck came out of now where. Callie woke up and said yes but I still think Arizona will back out because she thinks the accident is some kind of bad juju. Oh, I seen a spoiler I know the answer to that. Darn, sometimes I hate spoilers. I want to know what happens, but I like to find out during the show.

Who will the new Chief resident be?

Will Meredith get pregnant?

I'm watching the musical again, I need a fix to get me through. Sara Ramirezs' voice is incredible, she blows me away. She gives me goose bumps and makes me cry. Wow!
