Jeff Conaway To Recover - Not A Drug Overdose

I'm so happy. Dr. Drew just tweeted he visited Jeff Conaway and he is doing better. He is stable and recovering from pneumonia, not a drug overdose as all the news people reported. I sure am so glad I saw that tweet!

I really hope Jeff gets well soon. He certainly has had a time of it lately. I'm so glad to hear it wasn't a drug overdose as the press initially reported.

I also have to wonder how many of them will make the correction as I am doing. I'll bet it won't be as many as reported he was in a coma from a drug overdose.

Update 05/21/2011 Someone asked Dr. Drew Why Jeff Conaway's manager is giving all the reports he is in a coma. Dr. Drew responded. He is in a medically induced coma. He is actually on a Propafol drip. Someone else asked if that meant he was on a vent? Dr. Drew  responded "Right. Pneumonia with Sepsis. No evidence of intentional OD".

I sure hope Jeff can recover from this.

Jeff Conaway In A Coma

This makes me so sad and mad. Most of you probably will recognize Jeff Conaway from his performances in Taxi and Grease. He is now 60 years old and was found unconscious on May 1. He is in a coma from an apparent drug overdose. He is in an Encino hospital in critical condition.

"Exit Wounds"

What the heck the show cut off early had to record it twice to get the ending of the show.

When we left off last week Lynn Guitard had fallen asleep at the wheel of the Wizard. We start this week with Lynn sleeping and Captain Keith waking him up. He yells at him for a little bit and then says "I've been there". Wow I don't know what I was expecting, but I was expecting so much more than that. Captain Keith didn't even hardly yell at him. Must be because he hadn't had coffee yet.  I mean did the boat roll and Captain Keith get thrown out of bed? What woke him up? Was it just time for Captain Keith's watch again? Just expecting something more there. 

Black Swan - The Movie

This is a movie about a ballerina gone wrong.

It reminds me somewhat of the movie Show Girls, which I really liked. Maybe its the dancer/competitor in me that enjoys the competition in these movies. In this movie the dancers compete for the lead position in Swan Lake in a New York City Ballet. The difference between this movie and Show Girls is the dancers in this movie are in ballerina leotards instead of half naked.

Oh! Gabriel and Naomi slept together. Well at least they are both single, I guess that's okay.

This is going to be an interesting story line with Patti. She tries to get an abortion and can't because of protesters, so she goes and gets a back alley abortion that is botched. Go figure. And to top it off she is still pregnant. ?? Addison tells her when you have the abortion done early sometimes the doctor can miss the embryonic tissue. That's probably not a good thing to be putting out there. Naomi says the stats on this happening are negligible.

It's interesting that Meredith Grey just expects Alex Karev not to say anything. On one hand I understand that she would expect him as a friend to keep his mouth shut. On the other hand as a friend she shouldn't put him in that position. She's asking a lot of him. It would put his license on the line if anyone found out he knew and didn't say anything, and he was all ready in that LVAD mess with Izzie.

Josh Harris Girlfriend Quite A Sweetie - Deadliest Catch

Yes ladies, Josh Harris of Deadliest Catch has a new girlfriend. I started seeing questions regarding his girlfriend, and then she showed up on Twitter. So I went looking to see what I could find.

Someone evidently gave Josh Harris a trip to the Playboy Mansion for a birthday present. While on the trip he found himself a 22 year old Playboy model named Heather Johansen.

"A Wing And A Prayer"

A very interesting episode to say the least.

We get to see the Northwestern. Yea! We will get to see if Jake Anderson caught any crab on the string he set. Oh no the boat has lost all power and is headed for the dock. Edgar Hansen to the rescue! Edgar can't leave, what would they do without him? Where was Nick? Why wasn't he down in the engine room helping? Edgar says this season is going to be legendary. That kind of concerns me. When they first lost power Captain Sig Hansen screamed Edgar drop the anchor, but Edgar went to the engine room and started the backup generator. Captain Sig Hansen is going on about nobody was going to set the anchor, that if Jake Anderson wants to be a Captain he can't just wait for somebody else to handle it. Looked to me like Jake Anderson was doing something he had that big ole rope he was putting up.

Well we had two weddings on Grey's Anatomy, I wonder if this one will happen.

I'm so glad Naomi is back, I really like her. Fife chasing her is kind of funny.

This whole lawsuit thing isn't sitting right with me. Violet didn't use Katie's name in the book. It's not Violet's fault Katie cut her open and was all over the news. If Katie hadn't cut Violet open and stole her baby, then she wouldn't be in the news, that's Katie's problem not Violet's.
