Something Thinks Its Moving In !

For the last five years or so, I've been trying to grow my own vegetables, unsuccessfully, for one reason or another. This year I started hand pollinating and actually have about twenty green peppers on 7 or 8 plants. I'm so excited. 

I go outside last night to empty the litter box; I'm hosing it out and think I'd better water the green peppers, still no rain. I aim the hose at the plant pot and notice the pot is half empty. All of the plants on the left hand side of the pot were broken off, but the broken off pieces were missing. Very odd, I said a few curse words and went back in the house.

Marty, Marty, Marty your the one that decided it was a smart move to tell everyone you had the idol. So deal with it!

Kelly B. is gone, the plan to get the hidden immunity idol used didn't work. Marty certainly got a heart check, probably messed in his drawers.

Janet Napolitano - The View - Illegal Immigrants Someone please explain...

I just watched The View. Janet Napolitano was on and they were discussing illegal immigrants. Janet says when someone is arrested databases are checked to see if they are wanted for other crimes. This makes sense. Then she says now when someone is arrested the immigration database is checked to see if they are here illegally. This also makes sense. Then she says if they are here illegally they are deported “after” they have served their time. That makes me crazy!

Sybil

This is an older flick from 1976. Maybe some of you remember it. I had watched this many years ago, but decided to watch it again. It is based on a true story about a woman named Sybil Dorsett who had multiple personality disorder with at least 16 different personalities (now known as DID). Sally Field plays Sybil and Joanne Woodard her psychiatrist and some of you may recognize Natasha Ryan (Hope) from Days of Our Lives who plays little Sybil.

Legends of The Fall

An excellent movie about family, war, love and a bear.  Starring Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, Julia Ormond, Aidan Quinn, and Henry Thomas.

Somewhat of a tearjerker, but still very good movie. Based on the book.

Definitely a 5 star movie.

Mission Of The Shark: Saga of The USS Indianapolis

A true wartime drama based on actual events starring Stacy Keach, Richard Thomas and David Caruso.

The USS Indianapolis is the ship that delivered the atomic bomb that would be used to destroy Hiroshima. After completing this mission, the ship is hit with a Japanese torpedo.  Due to the secrecy of the mission their rescue is delayed for five days and the shipwrecked sailors have to fight to stay alive in the Philippine Sea.

This movie was filmed in 1991. At first glance I thought boy these guys look young, then I realized 1991 was almost twenty years ago not ten. LOL

I give this one 3.5 stars.

Survivor Nicaragua Episode 4

This show really doesn't do a good job of keeping my attention anymore. I'm really not sure why I'm watching it.

I find it hard to believe they can't find food. If it were me, I think I'd be following those monkeys to see what they are eating. There has got to be food on the island besides fish.

Temple Grandin - Awesome Movie

This is a movie based on a real life person. Temple Grandin is a woman with Autism - Aspergers who has a photographic memory and appears to eat only yogurt, pudding and green Jell-O.

This is an incredible story. Temple Grandin started college in the late ‘60’s and not only had to deal with her Autism - Aspergers but being discriminated against because she is a woman. Despite all this she accomplishes amazing things. Just to name a few without giving away too much about the movie. She receives her Doctoral degree, invents the hug machine, is published in many magazines, and has published a couple of books.
