They are getting close. This article says this is the first time ever they have attempted to supply fuel to and Arctic Alaskan Settlement through sea ice.
It also explains their plans on how to get the fuel on land once they get there and why flying the fuel in wasn't a good option.
The article also has some other interesting things in it. Like on the way there, the Renda got stuck on an ice ridge. I know they left Dutch Harbor once and had to return for repairs too. What a journey this has been for them trying to get fuel to this town.
