For those of you new to blogging I thought I would throw out a few tips for this blog, since most blogs are different.
The most recent posts are shown on the home page.
In the upper left hand corner is a search box for this blog. It says follow, share, etc. next to it. To find articles on certain topics this can be helpful. If your a Deadliest Catch fan for example and you search Deadliest Catch it will pull up all the articles on this blog containing Deadliest Catch for you.
On the right side of the blog you can find all the articles in the older posts section. Click the arrow for a list of titles in the specified date range.
Also on the right side of the blog is a Favorite Topics Section, click a topic and all articles in that category will display in the middle of the page.
Also on the right side are Hot Topics these are the most visited pages for the week.
Click A Topic section is a cloud of words used in my articles in alphabetical order. The bigger the word the more it is used. Just click the word and the corresponding articles will appear in the middle of the page. This will only pull up articles that have been tagged with the word, not all articles containing the word. If you want to find all articles containing the word it's better to use the search box in the upper left hand corner.
To comment on an article either click Comment Here in grayed box below the article, or click the article title and scroll to the bottom of the page. If you would like to receive comments for just that particular article or thread in your email, click the subscribe by email underneath the comment box.
You can sign in anonymously, or with your Google, Live Journal, Word Press, TypePad, AIM, or Name/URL User name or with an OpenID. I'll bet you have an open ID and didn't even know it. Make your comment, click the drop down to select your sign in preference. Then click preview if you prefer or post comment. Enter the security code if requested so I know you are not a spam bot and your done. Easy!
If you have another question ask it in the comment section and I'll answer as quickly as I can.
