DIE-ner Get it? The Movie

This is a low budget or B rated horror film. You never quite know how they are going to be. This one turned out pretty good. Of course I may be a little biased because my Twitter and Facebook friend Maria Olsen is in the movie.

Taking Lives - The Movie

This was an older movie from 2004. A psychological crime thriller about an FBI profiler named Illeana Scott played by Angelina Jolie. She is chasing a serial killer played by Ethan Hawke.

The serial killer kills people and then takes over their identity. Because of this he has been on the loose for years, until one day his mother spots him. He has supposedly been dead for 19 years.

Trust - The Movie

This is a great movie and teaching tool.

I don't usually give a lot away about the movies I watch, but I will on this one because it is just that important.

If you have young girls or even young boys, you should consider watching this film with your child. It is the story of a young girl victimized by a predator from the internet.

The Girl Who Lives Down The Lane - The Movie

This is an old movie from 1976.  It is a psychological thriller. One of my favorite genres. The movie is about a dying man that teaches his 13 yo daughter to live under the radar, so when he dies she can live on her own in a house he has leased for three years. Jodie Foster plays the 13 yo girl Rynn. Martin Sheen plays the local town pervert and animal torturer.

X Games:The Movie

If you like extreme sports you'll love this documentary - movie by Steve Lawrence released in 2009.

There is Motorcross Freestyle with Kyle Loza andy Ricky Carmichael. Kyle Loza does one of the craziest tricks I've ever seen on a motorcycle.

The Long Kiss Goodnight - The Movie

What a great movie! This is an action adventure movie. Geena Davis plays a woman who has amnesia, she wakes up two months pregnant. The movie starts some 7 or 8 years later.

She starts getting pieces of her memory back and she is recognized on TV by people from her past that have scores to settle. Turns out the PTA mom she is now, is nothing like who she was before.

Another psychological thriller. One of my favorite genre's.

Edward Norton is in prison for arson. His grandparents house, with them in it. Robert DeNiro is his parole officer who needs to make a recommendation for a parole hearing. Milla Jovovich plays Norton's wife. She sets to work on DeNiro to try and convince him to help her husband get out of prison.

Reservoir Dogs - The Movie

A crime thriller mob movie. This was Quentin Tarantino's directorial debut.

This movie was about a group of gangsters that tried to rob a jewelry store. The robbery went bad.

Zombieland - The Movie

Zombieland is a horror movie with comedy.  This movie is rated R. The language could be offensive to some. Then there is the gore factor, which is to be expected in a horror flick, but the gore wasn't too bad.

If I remember correctly this was recommended to me by my son.

The movie starts out with a list of rules on how to survive in Zombieland. Then Woody Harrelson arrives in a black SUV looking vehicle with the number 3 painted on the side. Woo Hoo!

Public Enemies - The Movie

Public Enemies was a pretty good movie.

It is set during the depression. A story about the gangsters of the day, but mostly about John Dillinger, with a little bit of Pretty Boy Floyd, Baby Face Nelson and J. Edgar Hoover thrown in. It also tells about John Dillinger's girl friend, so a little bit of a love story.

This movie was filmed in 1988. I can't believe I had never heard of it. A great recommendation from a Twitter friend.

No Way Out - The Movie

Finally a really good movie. I realized half way through, I had already seen it. Good grief!

This is about a navy officer played by Kevin Costner. Bonus there already. hehe He meets a woman falls in love, and then finds out, she's his new boss' mistress. Then the drama begins.

Master of Horrors: Stuart Gordon: The Black Cat

This movie is about Edgar Allan Poe who is suffering from a severe case of writers block. He has an ill wife and an evil black cat named Pluto.

It's a short show only 58 minutes. It looks like Master of Horrors was a Showtime series and this was one of the stories. I don't know. I never heard of Master of Horrors, will have to check that out.

The Stand - The Movie

I love Stephen King, but I just couldn't get into this movie after two hours. I certainly wasn't going to sit through it for four more hours.

The movie is about a lethal virus that gets into the general population, leaving only a few survivors. My kind of flick, but this just wasn't doing it for me.

Some good actors. Rob Lowe, Molly Ringwald, Jamie Sheridan and Gary Sinise.

This one got a two star.

James Patterson's Suzanne's Diary For Nicholas - The Movie

A made for television movie, about a book editor played by Kathleen Rose Perkins who falls in love with one of her writers. The writer played by Johnathon Schaech gives her his late wife's journal. The late wife is played by Christina Applegate.

Very touching love story. I managed to watch it without crying, but I did find myself getting goosebumps on a couple of occasions.

The Nurse - The Movie

The Nurse played by Lisa Zane is a psychological thriller.

Her father is caught embezzling and his solution is to kill his wife, son and then himself.  But the nurse blames the informant, who guess what now needs a nurse. It's the perfect opportunity for revenge.

Not a real original storyline, but somewhat entertaining none the less.

I'll give this one three stars.

Blood Work - The Movie

In this movie titled "Blood Work" Clint Eastwood plays a retired FBI agent - Terry McCaleb who is recovering from a heart transplant. The heart donor who was murdered has a sister who figures out that Terry received her sisters heart and contacts him to find out who murdered her.

Terry agrees, and the quest begins. Its a pretty interesting story line. I gave this one a three star also.
