Jeff Bridges plays Rooster Cogburn, Hailee Steinfeld play Mattie Ross the little girl. Josh Brolin is the bad guy and Matt Damon is the Texas Ranger that assists them.
This was a good movie, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the actors or anything, but I liked the John Wayne version better. If you've never seen the John Wayne version then you'll probably enjoy this more than I did.
Quit doing remakes of already awesome movies people. Give us something new.
I give this one three stars.
