Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew Is Canceled?

Well CRAP! Another good show is gone!

At least that is what TMZ is reporting. Dr. Drew is leaving Celebrity Rehab.

If this keeps up I will get caught up on my reading. What the heck I wonder if Dr. Drew is too busy with his new show on HLN? I really liked Celebrity Rehab darn it!

Celebrity Rehab Season 5 Revisited Part 2

Dr. Drew and Bob Forrest meet with Jessica and recommend Jessica Kiper go to sober living. She did not go. She has been smoking pot and drinking. They again try and get her to go to sober living. She says no.

Dr. Drew tells her if she doesn't stop drinking there will be trouble. She finally agrees to go. She packs some stuff and Bob Forrest takes her to the new house. I just want to give Bob a hug he's such a sweet heart.

Celebrity Rehab Season 5 Revisited Part 1

This episode is a follow up with the patients since they have left rehab. I'm not sure any of them went to a Sober House. That really wasn't addressed this season and since we are getting these "special shows". It really makes me think they didn't. I wonder if there will be a Sober House with different patients or if there won't be a Sober House. Maybe Dr. Drew is to busy with his new show, although he really wasn't on Sober House that much.

Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Season 5 Episode 8 "Preparing For Discharge"

The police have arrived for Michael Lohan. They tell him to place his hands behind his back. Michael says he didn't do anything. The police decide not to arrest Michael because he is in Dr. Drew's care. He will be put on strict lock down.

Kate Major is drunk and has been doing pills. Dr. Drew tells Michael he is his patient and the one he is worried about right now. He will talk to Kate and try to get her help. Michael asks if Dr. Drew will sit down with the two of them and talk. He says no. Dr. Drew, here is my problem. The unit has to be safe. You have to respect the boundaries of your peers. You can't scream and yell and carry on. I have to discharge you if you lose your cool on the unit. Michael, I'm not going to lose my cool. Dr. Drew, you already did. I want to keep you as a patient. Is this really worth it? Michael, no I have to let her go. I have to get her out of my life. Dr. Drew tells Michael to cool out here and sit with these guys, he's going to see what is going on outside. Will Smith is there with Jeremy Jackson.

Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Season 5 Episode 7 "The Trouble With Loved Ones"

"The Trouble With Love Ones"

Let's see if Amy Fisher's husband get's hauled off to jail.

The police have arrived. Dr. Drew says the fact is in California it is illegal to threaten someone's life. So if Jeremy and his family decide to press charges this could be very bad for Lou. It seems to me this should be like spousal abuse. If the threat is made the police should take him away even if Jeremy doesn't press charges, to cover their butts.

Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Season 5 Episode 6 "Family Weekend"

Family weekend is usually pretty interesting. The previews certainly looked interesting.

Michael Lohan is talking with Dr. Drew and Dr. John Sharp. Dr. Drew calls Michael's ex fiance and tells her she must go into treatment in order to attend the group. Dr. Drew tells Kate Major she can attend the family weekend if she commits to going into rehab. So basically she can say she will do it and then not go. She still has to show up clean or she can't get in.

Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew Season 5 Episode 4 Triggers and Regret

Triggers and Regret

It’s day seven. The celebrities are in group out on the patio where we left them on the last show.

Dr. Drew goes and gets Steven Adler and tells him he needs to talk to him. Steven Adler, That lying, denial bitch Amy Fisher. Dr. Drew, Be careful. Steven, I am going to put her down today. Dr. Drew, Here’s the deal you are interfering with my treatment of her. What I know about her is she is a very fragile person. And if you go a little too hard on her she will bolt. Steven, She’s not fragile. She does "XXX porn".

Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew Season 5 Episode 3 "Awakening Emotions"

"Awakening Emotions"

So let's see what happens with Bai Ling.

Bai Ling is up on the roof. She is walking crouched over on the roof. Shelly Sprague goes up after her. She's telling Bai this is no joke. Will Smith and Dr Drew are also there, below. Shelly gets Bai Ling to go down the ladder.

She is in a room with Dr. Drew. She asks what happened? That's what I want to know. Why did she take down her name plate? Dr. Drew, You ended up on the roof somehow. Bai we can't have that happening to you. We're responsible for you. We have to protect you. We're concerned. Remember when I recommended that medication to you. I still think that would be a good idea. Bai, I'm just uncomfortable. I'm just I don't know why. Dr. Drew asks nurse Sashu Kusina to talk to Bai about what the medication does, how it works and what the benefits might be.

Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew Season 5 Episode 1 Intake

"Intake"

The show starts out with clips of Celebrities with addiction problems. Dr. Drew says overdose deaths have increased by 114%. Wow! I have to wonder how much of that is prescription drugs.

Dr. Drew says sadly we lost two of our own this year. They put up pictures of Mike Starr and Jeff Conaway. There are four articles on Jeff Conaway so scroll down after clicking the link So sad. Dr. Drew says that only strengthens his resolve to fight this disease. I swear I don't know how Dr. Drew does it.

Celebrity Rehab Season 5 The Cast And Patients Has Been Released

In anticipation of the new episode starting in a couple of hours I decided to check the VH1 site for the season 5 cast list and found one.

I always find it interesting who is going to show's up in Rehab. I mean you never want to see anyone in need of Rehab. It's that curiosity thing that gets you every time. I usually have never heard of 2/3 of them.

Jeff Conaway Has Died - So Sad

Well I waited to post anything until I heard from Dr. Drew, since people have been posting Jeff Conaway died for the last two weeks. I didn't want it to be true, but Dr. Drew says it is, so I guess I'll have to believe it.

It looks like from the report's Jeff was taken off of the ventilator Thursday and succumbed to his illness on Friday. I don't know how reliable that information is, except that it does appear he died Friday.

Jeff Conaway In A Coma

This makes me so sad and mad. Most of you probably will recognize Jeff Conaway from his performances in Taxi and Grease. He is now 60 years old and was found unconscious on May 1. He is in a coma from an apparent drug overdose. He is in an Encino hospital in critical condition.

Mike Starr Former Bassist of Alice In Chains Dies At 44

Wow, this sucks! I just heard.

Mike Starr was found dead in a Salt Lake City home Monday dead. He was 44 years old.

I had never heard of Mike before watching Celebrity Rehab.  Mike had a very rough time in rehab and I was worried he wouldn't be able to stay clean. I had hopes that the reminder of his friend Layne Staley's death, (Also a member of Alice In Chains) would help to keep him clean. I was so happy when Mike decided to continue on to Sober House after Celebrity Rehab. I really hoped he would beat the drug addiction, he was working so hard on getting all his problems under control.
