AMC Cast Updates Brooke's Back & More

Sofia D’Elia Black is done as Bailey but  Finn Wittrock  (Damon) the baby daddy has been put on contract.  humm?

The move to California has caused all the children to be replaced.

Those who will be recast are:

• Lucy Merriam (Emma Lavery),
• Alexa Gerasimovich (Kathy Martin),
• Jessica Slomovitz (Jenny Martin),
• Rory and Declan McTigue (Little Adam Chandler),
• Aidan and Connor Sharpe (Trevor Dillon),
• Triplets Alexander, Benjamin, and Caleb Eckstein (Spike Lavery),
• David and Damian Paseler (Baby Stuart).

Sorry to see that happen. These are great kids.

David Canary (Adam/Stewart) will not renew his contract.  Saw this was coming when they killed off Stewart.

The good news – will see a short return of  Cady McCain as Dixie, and on February 23 Julia Barr is returning as Brooke English.

Brooke’s return should give the writers all kinds of things to write about. The history with Erica & Tad alone makes my head spin.

Thorsten Kaye’s (Zach) is no more. (Crying) For those of you who don’t know, Thorsten is married to Susan Haskell in real life,  Marty Saybrooke Thornhart on One Life to Live which films in NY, unfortunately for us its a conflict. Maybe he will show up on OLTL as her new boyfriend, or he could return as Cole’s dad, maybe he really isn’t dead. Its a soap after all.

Alicia Minshew (Kendall) had taped additional scenes, but she is officially on maternity leave and there is no word if she will return at some point in the future.  What??? No Kendall???

Jill Larsen (Opal) who initially was not offered a deal to California, has now been put on contract. Yay!

Oh and welcome back to Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery).  You’ve been missed.

I really don’t need to see her there.  The article that said she had scheduled to go, said she will be given the same air time as other politicians.  She’s not a politician anymore. Don’t want to see her.

I just don’t get what people see in her. I didn’t like her when I first heard of her, and I still don’t like her.

I said she was a quitter way before she resigned as Governor, which she proved when she quit.  She is an embarrassment to women  and I don’t need to see her at a NASCAR race.

Oh, and have I said enough I don’t want to see her.

I haven’t watched OLTL long enough to know the back ground on Mitch.  Did Dorian say she killed him 3 times?

I thought I remembered, when I started watching maybe Dorian and Blair shooting him in a theater?

I think the Serial Killer/Burglar is Crystal’s new boyfriend. That would be just her luck, and wasn’t his ex in Boston.  I guess they’ll have the serial killer kill off everyone not moving to California.

I really just want to slap Annie.

I’m so glad the real Greenlee is back.  Now we need Bianca, Reese, Jack, and Lilly back.

Alicia Minshew aka Kendall needs to pop out that kid so her and Zach can return.  I hope all is well in babyland, but I can’t wait to see Kendall and Greenlee meet up again.  When Greenlee comes back and finds out what has happened while she was gone.  Look out!

Erica and Ryan just aren’t doing it for me.  Ryan and Greenlee belong together.

Nancy Kerrigans Brother Allegedly Assaults Father

Mark Kerrigan has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after his 70 year old father was found dead on Sunday in the family’s Boston area home.  He plead not guilty.

Apparently Mark Kerrigan was belligerent and appeared intoxicated. He wanted to use the phone and his father would not let him.  He struggled with his father, put his hands around his father’s neck and his father fell to the floor.  He said his father was faking it.

Brenda Kerrigan, the mother, said her husband died of a heart attack.

This is just sad on so many levels.

Pernell Roberts Dies

Star of Trapper John and Bonanza, died at Malibu, California home Sunday at the age of 81.

Pernell played Adam Cartwright on Bonanza Son of Ben Cartwright, for those of us old enough to forget.

Tucker McCall Recast

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Stephen Nichols debuts this week on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” as a recast Tucker McCall, taking over from the departing William Russ. His first air date is scheduled for Wednesday, January 27.

On his first day on the job look for Nichols’ Tucker to butt heads with numerous corporate sharks in Genoa City including Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

That didn’t take long William Russ just got on the show. I liked Tucker and his hair.


I’m not so sure what’s going on at Y&R. I’m still not over the way they’ve treated Victor (Eric Braeden) with his contract.

Palmer Cortlandt of the soap opera “All My Children” for nearly 30 years, died Friday at age 89 from Cardio Pulmonary Disease (COPD) complicated by pneumonia.

He will be missed.

Terror Flight

I've had enough already. There has got to be some other news out there. Something besides terrorists and Tiger Woods.

The government screwed up AGAIN. No news there.

Why give the terrorists all this press, it's part of what they want.

People, you can't have it both ways. You can't say the government isn't doing enough for security checks and then complain because your rights are being invaded. If you want them to protect you on flights, everyone has to be searched or fly naked and empty-handed.

Nowadays, everyone's rights are being invaded. You're being watched, regardless of whether you fly or not.

If you don't want to be searched or x-rayed, don't fly.
