An immigration officer tried to get rid of his wife by adding her to a list of terror suspects.
He used his access to security databases to put his wife on a watch list of people banned from boarding flights into Britain.
As a result the woman was unable to return home to the UK for three years from Pakistan, after traveling to the country to visit family. When she tried to return home she was not allowed to board the aircraft, and officials refused to tell her why. She was forced to remain in Pakistan for three years until her husband's manipulation of the list came to light.
The tampering went undetected until the immigration officer applied for a promotion. After being selected for the promotion his wife's name was found on the suspect list during vetting.
He was then fired for gross misconduct.
I guess it just goes to show, what goes around comes around. But still funny. hahaha
