The Core is an end of the world disaster type of movie. Usually my kind of movie. I like Deadly Disaster movies.
This one stars Hilary Swank, Aaron Eckhart, Stanley Tucci, Bruce Greenwood, Delroy Lindo, DJ Qualls, Richard Jenkins, Alfre Woodard, and Tcheky Karyo.
The Earth's inner core has stopped spinning and doom is near. Strange things are happening. People with pacemaker's are dropping dead and birds are falling out of the sky.
So the government rounds up the brilliant scientists, a computer geek, and a pilot (Hilary Swank) and they are off to save the world. But in order to do this they must reach the Earth's inner core which of course is a little tricky.
I give this movie a three star. It was good but not awesome.
