Davids funeral is today.

No one grieving his loss. Okay here's a thought, David poisoned himself. Haha Jesse just had that thought too. Liza's hair is kinda all over today. She's still trying to nail Ryan. Liza tells Jesse to investigate everyone at party. Jesse, where were you doing the party? Liza turns it on him, what were you doing at the party?

Ryan's reading in the newspaper that David was poisoned. Madison isn't showing any signs of guilt. Madison is implying to Ryan that Greenlee might have poisoned David.

Greenlee goes to talk to Kendall, she tells her to leave. Greenlee says its about Ryan. Kendall says he's no longer a suspect. Greenlee, maybe he is. Kendall still mad at Greenlee doesn't want to see her crocodile tears, tell her to leave. Kendall feeling no love or pity for Greens today.

JR talking to Tad tells him its his fault AJ ran away. Of course Tad tells him it wasn't his fault. They start talking about Dixie and David.

Jake, How will we miss David let me count the ways. I got nothing, nothing. LOL Love Jake

Ryan finds the note Greenlee left. Madison thinks its odd Greenlee just lets herself in and out. Suggests Ryan, her and the kids go on vacation. Jake calls Ryan to see if he wants to come down and toast Davids demise. Ryan turns him down. Tells Madison he still has an uneasy feeling about all this, he wishes he could remember. Madison, you didn't poison David. Ryan, yeah, but maybe I saw who did.

Everyone gathering at Krystals restaurant. Jake's throwing a party. Tad says looks like everyones here lets break out the drinks and toast to the man that made our life a living hell.

Greenlee, Marissa and Krystal are having a closed funeral. Greenlee said David is with Leo, Babe, and Leora now the family that he loved. Maybe he will find the happiness there, that he never found here.

Jesse arrives at party, Liza followed him. She's getting annoying. Says to Jesse, lookie here all his enemies in one room, you gonna celebrate or do your job?

Opal, it isn't right to speak ill of the dead, but maybe in Hayward's case we can make an exception. hehe Everyone is remembering the nasty thing David did to them.

Marissa asks Greenlee if she knows who poisoned her father? Krystal, Liza and Jesse won't stop until they find who did it. Tells Marissa, come on you'll feel better if you eat. You know they are going to walk in on that wake. They walk off, leave Greenlee standing there. David's ghost shows up and says but its not over yet is it? Your afraid Ryan went to my room and poured poison down my throat. Did he do it or did he not, that is the question. Is it possible you shining white knight committed cold blooded premeditated murder? GreenLee has the vial in her purse. What is she nuts carrying that around?

Boy Liza is putting a damper on Jake's party. Tad, David took out more people in this town than all the tornado's combined. He wasn't a martyr, Liza he was lethal. Marissa comes in the door. JR, Pine Valley's a lot better off with out him. Frankie, I say we let him rot, he made my families life a living hell. Everyone continues on. Marissa yells stop it. Krystal wants to know whats going on. Marissa just lowered her father in the ground show some respect. Everyone starts apologizing to Marissa. Marissa leaves. Everyone feels like a heal now. Angie wants to say a prayer for David.

Greenlee arrives at Ryan's says she didn't mean to interupt. Madison, yeah, you said that last time. Greenlee well at least this time you have your clothes on. Ryan, What's going on. Greenlee, I'm really sorry but I need to talk to you. Ryan, can you call me later. Greenlee, it's about who poisoned David. Madison, I'm gonna go for a walk. Ryan, whatever she's gotta say she can say it in front of you. Greenlee,  I prefer to say it in private. In walks Emma, Ryan, your supposed to be a play date. Emma I wanted to make sure you were still here. Ryan assures her he will be there it was all just a mistake. Madison takes Emma to get a cookie. Greenlee, tells Ryan it can wait to have a cookie with Emma and Madison. Greenlee leaves pulls the vial out again puts it back in purse. Well Greenlee's been carrying that vial around got her fingerprints all over it now.

I'm still thinking Madison killed David. I couldn't figure out where she could get the digitalis from, but then I remembered, she lived with Frankie for a while, she could have stole it from him or she could have stole it from the hospital when Ryan was sick. As to motive? She probably has less real motive than anyone else in town, but she did bring up David trying to make her sleep with Ryan, that's real torture now isn't it. Maybe she blames David for Ryan's head injury even though that really wasn't Davids fault. I'm thinking the show will use her as a scape goat so they can put Ryan and Greenlee back together again.

There are plenty of other suspects but right now I'm leaning towards Madison.

I Want A Soap Where ....

A couple stays married forever.

Soaps used to do this. You know Joe and Ruth on All My Children, Tom and Alice on Days of Our Lives, I think Edward and Lila on General Hospital. There have been a few couples over the years that have lasted. Didn't you dream as a little girl or boy to grow up and be married to the same person forever? 

The only couple I can think of that is left are Joe and Ruth on All My Children, and except for special occasions they are retired to Florida and aren't on the show anymore. 

I want my soaps to start developing a couple now, to fall in love either at first sight or hate each other first then fall in love, I don't care how they work it out I just want them to fall in love, get married and stay married forever. Gay, straight I don't care I just want a couple that stays married.

I mean the couple can still have bumps in the road, but I want them to work it out. I want that dream. For those of you that say it doesn't happen in the real world, all the more reason to have it in a soap, maybe if people have an example to follow they would work harder to stay together in real life. If people are having a rough real life, they can watch a happy couple and have hope.

Soaps aren't real! I love them, don't get me wrong. I love that there is a new episode every day and very seldom a rerun. BUT, soaps have writers, that get paid to be imaginative. So imagine that there is a couple that can work anything out and make it happen. Have the big family holiday dinners where everyone comes together and has a good day, no matter what else has happened the rest of the week.

Take All My Children for example, where's the anchor family of the show? I mean it's called All My Children. The Chandlers are spread out everywhere. Haley and Mateo are gone. You could bring them back, but I'm guessing Kelly and Mark aren't available, and its hard to imagine someone else playing them. The Cortlandt' s are all gone except Caleb. Every time the Kane women get together for a family meal its pretty much guaranteed a disaster and none of them have stay married, except Bianca whose now separated.

There's a possibility with the Hubbard family. They could have Angie & Jessie grow old together, be the anchor family. They have both been married to other people, but I could forgive that, since they have always remained in love, and their separation was beyond their control. (Well kind of) The family has a long history on the show. They have a family going now that would make for some nice family dinners. They have Frankie and Randi who could also be a couple to stay married forever, have some babies. Need to feel a little more love there, but it could work. Get Natalia married with some babies, got the new baby on the way.  They have laid some good ground work, and you have Jessie and Angie to help them through the rough patches, like when Frankie had his hand surgery and Angie gave Randi guidance. The more I think about it, the more I think the Hubbard's are a good candidate's for the long time couple and anchor family.

I think my other soaps are going to have to start from scratch. So come on my soap writers earn your keep get imaginative!

All My Children Recap September 14, 2010

JR's still looking for AJ. AJ went upstairs to his room and disappeared. JR and Annie looking for him, calling his friends. JR goes to Caleb's to see if Marissa is there, tells Krystal AJ is missing and Marissa won't answer his calls. Annie finds Marissa at Krystal's restaurant. Marissa wants to know if Annie was with JR when AJ went missing. LOL She wasn't.

Krystal invites Caleb to dinner with promise of no interruptions, but not tonight she has to got to board meeting.

Angie is getting ready for the board meeting. Natalia, Jessie, Frankie, and Randi there. They all say prayer before going to meeting.

Greenlee finds out from Coroner that David was poisoned with Digitalis, lethal dose. Hum, Greenlee access to Davids medical bag, Still have Frankie and Jake with access to drugs, and Angie if she was faking being blind for the day, I still think Madison did something. Greenlee goes to jail to tell Ryan he didn't kill David. Ryan says to Greenlee, wait who poisoned him? Ryan, looks like we are both going to be okay. Greenlee tells Ryan, Bianca and Kendall hate her after she told them what she did. Tad comes in tells Greenlee he needs her. Greenlee tells Tad David was poisoned, he started laughing, then apologizes. Tad tells Greenlee there's damage control that needs doing. Greenlee says let me help. Tad, you'll speak on Angie's behalf? Greenlee, David's. I owe him. I want this hospital to be his legacy, David was a brilliant surgeon that saved my life, and I want the entire world to remember that. 


Board member, According to Dr. Haywards letter you've been practicing medicine without disclosing your condition, which could expose this hospital to untold lawsuits and financial loss, from which we could never recover. This hearing has been called to address these allegations and determine if the charges are serious enough to warrant your dismissal. Is there anything you would like to say?

Angie, There was a time when people thought being handicapped was if you were a woman or African American. I've been facing preconcieved notions all my life, but I have never ever let them hold me back. Board Member, according to Dr. Hayward you knowingly put patients at risk. Angie, Well, someone always had my back I never attended patients alone. Board member, Are you saying other Drs. helped to cover this up? Angie explains in the beginning it was only brief episodes.  Board member, but you continued to treat patients? Angie, You know with all due respect, I will never let a handicap prevent me from being the best Dr I can be, now I was infected at this hospital trying to save a young boys life, and I would do it all over again. As drs we willing accept risk to save lives, and that is what I did. Board member, When you could see? Angie, right now I'm legally blind, but I'm learning to cope with this challenge so I can still be a Dr, to be Chief of this hospital, and I would not be fighting to keep my job here if I didn't believe that with every fiber of my being, that I am still as fine a Dr as I ever was. I'm a healer, and you can take away my sight but you can never take away that.

Jake, presents letters from patients, patients family's and staff and gives his two cents. Amanda presents petition signed by hundreds of people who want Angie to stay.  Madison says she might have ended up homeless without Angies' help. Opal had problems with heart Angie saved her. Angie sees with her heart. Brot says he had a bad attitude but she didn't let that get in way. Bianca, tells how she saved Miranda. Randi says an abused hooker gets the same kind of treatment as everyone else. Natalia, talks about her mothers cancer. Frankie talks about hand surgery and how Angie encouraged him to be a Dr.

Board member, says Dr Hayward sent a letter to the board that caused concern. They ask Jake to read it. (I've put Jake's commentary while reading the letter in purple) Angie says she can't believe all the petitions and letters, she has never felt so loved. Tells them they can all leave board could take a while. They say they will camp out here if they have too. Board comes back in.The decision was unanimous pending review for condition and performance Dr. Hubbard  will remain as chief of staff  Jake, I'll tell you right now whatever is in this letter, Board cuts him off. Jake, It has come to my attention that Dr Angela Hubbards' behavior has not only been unprofessional but a potential and serious threat to this facility. She has endangered patients put the hospital at risk for multiple lawsuits and failed to honor the Hippocratic oath. That's ridiculous. Board, just read the letter. Dr Hubbard has lied about her own medical condition, a condition which puts patients in a very real jeopardy. That's just not good English.  Her lies with repeated failure to cooperate with the board, I think he means cooperate with him. threatens the very survival of this hospital.  The only threat here is was David himself. David was pathologically jealous of Angie, she had a great family, he didn't, people love Angie, deeply love Angie, he was universally hated, Angie practices medicine with respect & genius. David's license was stripped away from him I'm just saying this is trash. As part owner of this hospital I feel it is my duty to bring Angela Hubbards' irresponsibility to light and make sure punitive action is taken. Yours truly, David Hayward. blah blah blah Board says they will deliberate. I guess that's one more promise to Greenlee broken. David promised to leave Angie and Jake alone when they bought the hospital.

Greenlee arrives before board leaves and says as owner of the hospital I would like to address the board before they make a final decision. Greenlee, I understand David's concern, but Angie would never ever put a patient at risk. I know that because I was her patient, she saved my life. Whatever infractions Angie might be guilty of, there is no one that can provide the hospital with the leadership it needs, during these difficult times. It's true she and my husband were constantly at war over this place but even David would agree the most important mission here is to save lives, and Dr Hubbard has saved hundreds. Thank you.

Angie says she can't believe all the petitions and letters, she has never felt so loved. Tells them they can all leave board could take a while. They say they will camp out here if they have too. Krystal & Caleb, Annie & JR look for AJ Annie sees AJ's toy truck. finds him hiding in bushes. Annie asked him what happened, AJ whispers something in her ear. Marissa and JR arrive. JR asks Annie if AJ said anything about why he took off. Annie, he said he heard you two fighting about him. JR and Annie back home. JR says Marissa says its all his fault asks Annie is he like Adam? AJ asks Marissa if he can stay with her tonight. Annie tells JR he is not his father. They look at each other longingly. Jr says he has to leave, stops at door and looks back. OH GROSS! Don't like these two together.

Madison is at Ryan's getting him clothes. Ryan walks in the door and announces he didn't do it he's free.
Ryan tells Madison about Davids poisoning says after all the people David's poisoned, its like instant karma. Madison, I'm just glad your free. Now I can prove how incredible I am. Madison and Ryan making out, Madison stops him and says they have to go get Emma.

Greenlee lets herself into Ryans apartment. No one there, she leaves a letter on the coffee table. Calls Ryans attorney to see if Ryan is with him he tells her he called Madison. There is a black jacket on  a chair. Greenlee picks it up and an empty vial of digitalis falls out. UM HUM Madison

Boy they sure made up today for the lack of nothing yesterday.

Young & Restless

I don't think the way Victoria was thrown into the car was too respectful. Ok, so did they sign the license before the vows ? or is this going to be a loop hole for Victor? Deacon always seems to get lucky when Nicks around. LOL That dress Phyllis is wearing sure is shiny! You go Nikki, tell Victor off good! Still can't believe he'd do that to his own daughter. Nikki kinda looks like she's been drinking, and like she wants too.

Boy Owen sure was quick to turn on Ronan. Nina is breaking my heart. Chance dying, whole different atmosphere on this show compared to when David died on AMC. Oh, Nina talking about Iraq & Chance is making me cry. I sure am glad Murphy is there for Catherine. I like him so much.Give it to Ronan Chloe!

Billy cracks me up, he sure isn't afraid of Victor is he. The look on Nikki's face is cracking me up. Ouch! Victor. I think Victoria needs to do the tough love thing and walk away from Victor.

OMG Cricket! First you make a play on her man, then you get her son killed. WHY would she let you help her?

Heather and Chloe friends? Just like on AMC, I'd like that.

I want to know who Asher is already! Ok, so how did Asher know Bianca was sending the "Nerd Army"? I think they deserved a better name than Nerd Army.

I still want to know where Madison was during the party. She disappeared and she's already killed one man.

Why does Kendall lie to Zach? She knows she's going to get caught.

I nailed it! I said either someone spiked the drinks (Maybe Greenlee) or Madison did something. Maybe Madison spiked the drinks, Frankie or Jake both have access to drugs. ????????

Ut oh, AJ missing. If David weren't on a table in the morgue I would suspect him! Who's the new bad guy gonna be?

Boy not much new there today.

One Life To Live

Eli's alive, no surprise there, but I really thought that was him outside Todd's house and he doesn't look like he's that mobile right now, so Ross must be with him.

Maybe Tea got her sight back and she's wondering around.

John McBain is not only sexy, but smart too!  He is so onto Eli. This Natalie questioning is stupid, Natalie is not that naive and she's not pregnant enough to say pregnancy destroyed her brain cells.

Vivian sex talk with Destiny is a riot! Her mother asked Vivian to talk to her. Poor Shaun! LOL

Brody, what a slime you are. You needed to come clean, before you asked her to marry you! I used to like Brody, I'm losing all respect. Grow some boy!

General Hospital

Claire needs to make up her mind either she wants to have Sonny's baby or she wants to put him in jail. What's it gonna be ? This back and forth is making me nuts. I say reproduce those dimples!

I said I saw a road crew worker in the background. I just thought it was Michael.

Almost feel sorry for this road crew guy.

I am still not feeling the love for this Brenda character. Seems to be pretty stupid if you ask me. Why's she keep going out alone if she knows people are trying to kill her.

I'm ready for some Max and Diane, and a girls night. But the girls are kinda a mess right now and Elizabeth is gone. Maybe Alexis and Diane can go hang with the lumberjack guys again. LOL

All My Children Recap, Tuesday September 7, 2010

David stumbles into the party falls over railing into the middle of the room.

Ryan is out in the hall with a big gash on his face.

Everyone fussing over David, called 911, now hollering for Jake and Frankie. Angie can see to tell what's going on. Jake's doing a half hearted CPR. Says he's gone. Jake tells Greenlee anything could have happened he has a lot of face and head trauma. Jessie declares the party a crime scene.

Kendall finds Ryan in a daze in the hallway. Ryan doesn't know what happened to him. Says he must of hit his head or something. Ryan says everything is a blank. Kendall looks in David's room and tells Ryan we need to get out of here right now. Ryan wants to go to party, Kendall tells him no, tells him he needs to trust her, they walk away just as a police officer arrives at David's room. Kendall cleans Ryan up at his apartment.

Krystal worries about how Marissa is going to handle this. Marissa gets a sweet phone message from David. She deletes it. Saw that coming.

Colby and Asher try and figure out what they are going to say. Colby doesn't want to get Ryan in trouble. Asher says then don't. Colby is telling Damon what happened.

Angie says she thought she would never hear the words David is dead. Angie has some serious boobage going on in that dress she's wearing.

Iris tells Liza its her job to prosecute to the fullest extent.

Greenlee cries over David. I keep waiting for him to move and come back from the dead.

Caleb protects Krystal from Natalia. Tells Natalia either arrest us or we're out of here! He and Krystal walk away. That was kinda hot! They go to Krystal's restaurant, find Marissa there and tell her about David. Well Marissa has the crying part down.

Greenlee tells Jesse she argued with David earlier, but was with Kendall when he fell. Liza asks Jesse whats the plan here? Jesse says whatever it is, I'm pretty sure its none of your damn business. LOL She tells him she's the new DA. Jesse says it could take you a year to go through all the suspects. Jesse is being uncooperative, Liza yells at him. Damn it, we have to work together whether you like it or not! Liza thinks Angie is at the top of the list of suspects. Liza says the public wants answers, Jesse, the public wanted him dead. He finally yells at Liza She is blind! everyone hears.

Tad's happy David is dead, Angie reminds him he was a father.

Kendall calls Greenlee as they are rolling David away, she tells her about Ryan. Greenlee says she'll be right there. Greenlee has flashbacks of David when he was being nice. Greenlee tells the police officer she is following her husband to hospital and leaves. Greenlee arrives at Ryan's, sees Ryan and tells Kendall it was good she got him out of there. Then tells them David is dead. Ryan asks how? Greenlee says he was in a fight, a violent one, she thinks he died from it.  Ryan looks down at his bruised knuckles.

Jake going to hospital to make sure everything is handled. That could mean a lot of things.

Well the rumors were that Davids contract was up at AMC, then they said they were in negotiation guess negotiations aren't going well??? I'll miss Vincent Irizarry as David if he is really dead. As of Sept 4, according to Vincent's facebook page they are still in negotiations, and this show I'm sure was recorded way before then. So we'll have to wait and see.

Beginning Sept 30 Rick Pasqualone will play the recurring role of  Charles Michaelson.

The party goes on.

Kendall to Liza, The Liza Colby I know would never let a man keep her from enjoying a party. Still trying to keep her from going to her office. Liza, Why do you care? Kendall, your right there is no reason I should care about your love life except for Zach. How would you feel if the woman who had an affair with your husband was available again. Liza, Really is that really what this is all about a fling? Cause that's really all it was. Kendall, Well maybe you could explain in detail why you are so sure of that and I would get the assurance I need. Kendall's working hard to keep Liza there. LOL Liza, you need a shrink or a marriage counsel. I said I'm going to leave, I'm leaving. Kendall, calls Ryan.

Asher at Chandlers with Colby. Colby, so why did you lie. Asher, about what? Colby, you said you didn't own a tux. Asher, its a rental. LIE Colby, It doesn't look like a rental. They start to leave JR comes in. Colby, have you met Asher? JR, yeah you were hanging around the house yesterday. Colby, as my guest. JR, and your here today. Tell me is it my sister or our family's house you can't get enough of? Colby, tells JR Asher saved her life and Asher is also the reason she is considering working for Chandler.

Security guard going in Liza's office. He gets a call on his radio, says it must be mice. He leaves. Big mice.

Greenlee trying to convince David to leave in the morning instead of tonight. David grabs her. Greenlee, Ow your hurting me. David, I know everything. I saw you in the park with Ryan, laughing, laughing at me. All this time everything you've done, everything you've said, has been one big lie. Greenlee, whatever you think you saw or heard. David, Stop don't insult me anymore than you already have. When I think of all the times these last few weeks when you told me that you were trying, that you wanted to get back the closeness that we had. Was any of it real or was it one big lie from the beginning ? Maybe we should discuss this over a drink but not here. Greenlee, why not. David, I don't think you want everyone to overhear what I have to say.

David, I never thought you would do this to me. Greelee, you've been blackmailing me. David, If you'd of ever believed in us you wouldn't have pushed me so far to do that. I did it. Greenlee, you did it for us right? David, did you ever love me? Well I guess that's my answer. Greenlee, I'm glad this is happening, because you are right what we had was all a lie, one that gets more twisted by the day.  But now its been blown out of the water so maybe its time we face the truth were over, were finished. If we drop the games and the pretense maybe we'll both be better off for it. David, I'm not going anywhere and neither are you.

David grabs Greenlee again. Greenlee, David your hurting me. I warned you what would happen if you let me fall in love with you. It would bond us together for ever. Greenlee, The only thing bonding us is this so called evidence linking me to Erica's plane crash, but once I get my hands on it. David, no no no your not getting your hands on anything even with Ryans help. Your going to get him to back off. Greenlee, you know I can't force Ryan to do something he doesn't want to do. David, you'd better try because we both know he has no business being involved in our life at all and he needs to know that too, you get that. Greenlee, Is that a threat? Are you threatening to hurt Ryan? Greenlee, Are you threatening Ryan? David, I don't give a damn about Ryan, I'm the one standing right in front of you, and I'm telling you I'm not letting you go, no matter how much you've hurt me. Greenlee, It's over David. David, no it doesn't end like this, it doesn't end with you walking away and me letting you go. Greenlee, promise me you won't hurt Ryan. David, what if something happened to him by accident? kinda like his aneurysm you gonna blame me again for that. Greenlee, nothing will happent to him though will it, David its a very dangerous world out there. Greenlee how could I have ever loved you. I believed you were a decent person. David, your not thinking clearly right now. Greenlee, you think I'm going away with you. David, yes, because you get it, you understand I will never let you go. David walks away.


Tad calls JR and tells him to come to party. JR agrees.

Bianca tells Caleb he doesn't hate this as much as he pretends too. Caleb, I'd rather be chasing Miranda around the living room.

Asher and Colby arrive at party, Colby is explaining the Cortlandt Chandler feud. Still no clue as to who Asher is.

Frankie questions Madison about where Ryan is. I guess Randi is still out of town.

Kendall tells Greenlee Liza went back to her office. Greenlee says she'll handle it.

Ryan finds locked file drawer. Hears elevator, Liza comes in Ryan tells her he's breaking into her office to get the evidence David gave her to implement Greenlee in Erica's plane crash. Liza plays stupid. Ryan explains whats going on and begs for the evidence. Liza's phone rings it's for Ryan. It's Greenlee who tells him to get out of there she doesn't want his help anymore. David watches Greenlee from across the room.

Asher asks JR for a job. Says he's pretty good at computers. JR gives him card and tells him to call.

Ryan goes back to party, Greenlee tells him she decided to stay with David. Ryan, I can't believe that, Greenlee tries to convince Ryan to stay out of it. Ryan, if I can't get the truth out of  you I will get it somewhere else.

David, goes back to his room with two drinks, pacing and twisting wedding ring.

Iris tells Liza she will be the interim District Attorney. I wondered if that would happen before David died at least that's the rumor that David is off the show.

Madison drinking heavily. Told Frankie all this time she was worried about Greenlee, maybe she should have been worried about Ryan.

Kendall is trying to get Greenlee to tell her what David did. She finally tells Kendall she and Ryan had a fight because she is staying with David to keep Ryan alive.

Ryan goes to David's room. David opens the door and says I've been expecting you. Ryan, what did you say to Greenlee. David, wow you really get right to the point don't you. Ryan, what do you have that your holding over her. David, why don't we discuss this like mature adults.what do you say. Ryan, there has been nothing adult about any of this. This is just another one of your sick and twisted games. David, I brought us some drinks, why don't we just sit down and try to talk about this. Ryan knocks the drinks out of his hand sending them flying across the room. The door is open, Colby and Asher are in the hallway, Ryan and David are fighting. Colby, I'm thinking this isn't a good place to be right now. They leave. haha Ryan has David on the bed. 

Caleb makes his speech, he's starting to see what Uncle Pete saw in this town. The proceeds from tonight would make him very happy. Tells about how the Chandlers and Cortlandt's are like the Hatfields and McCoys. Caleb will change his name to Cortlandt.

Ryan, What did you do to her? David, why don't we talk about what you did, filling her head with all these lies, making her believe that she doesn't need me any more, that I'm not good for her. Ryan, Are you kidding me! What have you done, you blackmailed her, you brought her back to life to own her like some kind of possession, you are sick and she deserves someone so much better. David, Oh you mean someone like you? Ryan, no this has never been about me and her it's about her getting the hell away from you. David, you will never taker her away from me get it through you thick skull. Greenlee is mine, Greenlee will always be mine. Ryan, punches him in the face a couple of times, both punching each other. Ryan knocks him out! Ryan leaves.

David comes back to party all bloody and falls in the middle of the floor.  That's a Friday for ya!

I don't think Marissa went to the party, I don't recall seeing her.  Annie and Scott must of finally left for their honeymoon, didn't see them either.

All My Children Recap Thursday, September 2, 2010

Angie standing in her living room blind again, all dressed up looking good for the party, trying to figure out what time it is, so she knows how long her site has been gone.  Jesse comes in tells her the time, its been over an hour. Angie's not sure she is ready to loose her sight yet. Jesse suggests they stay home, Angie says no she wants to go.

Crystal asking Opal on her opinion of a dress for the party. Tad comes in asks when they will be ready. Krystal says she doesn't need a ride. Opal tells Tad she is going with Caleb, Tad wants to know by car or mule. Krystal tells Tad you didn't ask me, Tad says I didn't know I had to, what am I supposed to do now go with mom? Opal says Caleb is Palmer's nephew how bad can he be.

Bianca talks to Caleb says Miranda named the gorilla Caleb got her Gus. Caleb coughing, Bianca says you've been doing that a lot since the fire, were you checked out. Caleb, I'm allergic to hospitals. Bianca says she called Erica and she is grateful for Caleb saving Miranda. Caleb wonders if Erica will show up for party. Bianca questions Caleb about Sonia again, he says the fire reminded him of something that happened a long time ago.

Kendall and Ryan plan the break in at Liza's. Madison arrives in an amazing dress, and hair doo with sneakers on. Said she couldn't decide on shoes so she bought four pair maxed out her credit card. Wants Ryan to help her decide. Ryan offers to buy them all she says no.

David flashing back to Greenlee and Ryan in the park. Greenlee comes in with dress.  David tells Greenlee he wants to go away, take a trip. Greenlee says she likes it. David, in the end if everything goes the way I want, I'll get rid of all the evidence. I'm through with all the lies aren't you? Greenlee, It'd be nice not to have a cloud over my head, over us.

Caleb talks to Palmer's picture tells him he saved a kid this time not like last time and promises to get his company back.

Party is at the Yacht Club , everyone is arriving, David tells Angie he has written the licensing board about her. Ryan slips away to Liza's office. Liza tells Kendall, she is wondering why she is at this party when she doesn't want to be, she is going to her office. Madison calls Ryan to warn him. The security guard outside Liza's office hears the phone, Ryan trips and makes another noise.

David tells Greenlee he's made plans for them to leave on their trip tonight.

All My Children Recap Wednesday September 1, 2010

Greenlee on phone to Ryan, searching her room for key, she finds it and David walks in.  David asks whats going on? Greenlee, I did all this. I was awake all night had a bad dream, tells him about a dream of the accident and that he wasn't there to save her. Tells David I want to hate you but I can't, not after what you did for me that night, I can't hate you. David, but that doesn't explain what you did to this room. Greenlee, says her ring was missing she was looking for it. David, stay right there, he goes and gets ring, says she took it off before she showered. Greenlee, says going to take a walk. David offers to go, she tells him no.

Meanwhile Ryan trying to get Greenlee back on phone. Calls Kendall says he's worried about Greenlee then says never mind I'll just go myself, opens door to leave Madison standing there. Madison, where you going, a fire? Gives him gift for party tomorrow. Cufflinks, dice with a three and four on them? Ryan leaves

Jesse & Iris - Mayor gives Jesse his job back but tells him to stay away from Hayward.

Caleb still holding unconscious Miranda, lays her on the couch, Angie checks Miranda still breathing. Angie still has no sight. She's taking Miranda's pulse and talking to her. Sends Caleb to look and see if David left a medical bag there. Caleb comes back with an oxygen tank. They put it on Miranda and she starts coughing. Hear ambulance arriving in background.

Jesse gets wind of the 911 call to Wild Wind. Goes to Wild Wind. Angie says she was so scared if Caleb hadn't of been there she never would have been able to help Miranda. Says she cannot be a doctor anymore. Jesse, so patient survives and doctor quits, I don't get it. Jesse convinces her she did a good job. Jesse, if I can get my job back, we can find a way to keep yours.

Caleb arrives at hospital screaming at everybody "Is she going to be okay?"  Frankie there, Caleb questions him about his last name being the same as Angie's. Frankie tells him he is her son. Caleb asks again if she's going to be okay. Frankie makes Caleb wait in the hall. Bianca arrives, Miranda tells Bianca Caleb saved her. Bianca thanks Caleb. They go out in hall. Caleb sits down, he says when I walked into the room and saw Sonia laying there, corrects himself, Miranda laying there. Bianca, Whose Sonia? Caleb not saying. Angie walks in, Frankie tells her Miranda is going to be okay. Miranda thanks Angie. Caleb tells Angie she was amazing.

Ryan and Greenlee meet in the park she gives him the key she found. I'll bet David is following her. Ryan says they are going to use the evidence to bury David. They discuss the night of her accident again,  There comes David around the corner with big bouquet of flowers he sees Greenlee with Ryan of course he miss reads Ryan holding Greenlee's hand. This isn't going to be good. David watching. Don't know if he is close enough to hear. The way they are playing it he can't hear them. Flowers on the ground he steps on them and squishes them. Ryan tells Greenlee just hang on until tomorrow then its over. Ryan's going to make a copy of the key for Greenlee so she can put the original back, he's going to go to Liza's office get the evidence, so Greenlee can confront David at the party.

David meets Liza. Liza, I think I'm being watched by Kendall and Ryan. They tried cozying up to me the other day, to find out about her relationship with him. They think he is involved in something, I'm sure they think it involves Greenlee. Liza, I'm trying to start a practice and it's not good being associated with you. David, then fire me make it as public as you want. Liza, what's the catch? David, I have a feeling you will be moving on to bigger and better things, and so will I. David, I understand you want to be new DA, Iris and I are old friends, I saved her daughter's life on the operating table a few years back. I think I can safely say with a word from me you will be the new DA. Liza, You would be doing this out of the kindness of your own heart?  David, You get the job you always wanted, I get a friendly DA. Liza, Just in case what? What are you up to now?

Ryan gets home, Madison is there tells her everything good, don't think we're going to have to worry about David anymore. Ryan thanks Madison for going above and beyond the call of duty. Madison, in a weird kinda way I'm glad all this happened. You've shown me what kinda man you are. Ryan, after tomorrow night at the party everything is going to change.

Greenlee gets home puts key back, David walks in and catches her again. Asks her how her walk in park went. Greenlee, I just love this time of year. Gave me a chance to think about things. I can't wait to go to that party with you, I think it will be a turning point for us. David, funny while you were out walking I was thinking the exact same thing. Greenlee, that's great its feeling more and more like it used to be. David, maybe even better Greenlee, I have such wonderful plans for us.

Angie/Jesse Angie you can't keep building me up and telling me I can do anything and then worrying whether I can get home. Jesse, Your right, in that case I will expect a hot meal on the table and an even hotter woman to greet me at the door. Angie, Well maybe Halle Berry will stop by. LOL You know I started out this day thinking I had to do exactly what David wanted, now I think I may have a few choices.

Liza, at her office looking at Greenlee Hayward file, doesn't open it. Stands in front of mirror pretending she's DA.

Jake tells Angie again he really doesn't want Chief of staff job. Jake tries to convince Angie that she can continue working. Then tells her he will be Chief temporarily while she is on maternity leave and learns to deal with her handicap. Angie, tells him she's not letting him take the job. Says the person that takes the job has to be ready to fight David 100% says she has a backup plan. Her sight goes again. So if Angie caught this contagious eye disease from a kid, how come she's not worried about anyone catching it from her.

Bianca tries to get Caleb to help with Palmer's Party. Kinda cute, kids stole his pliers. Caleb, I don't do parties that is your mothers thing not mine, I am busy find somebody else, hire somebody. Bianca, what is it you think I'm going to change you into being. Caleb, ask him Uncle Pete, Palmer Cortlandt whatever you call him. He had his own way of doing things, he liked people I don't. Bianca, that is not true, you like my girls, yesterday I saw you teaching Miranda how to make a sundial. Caleb, so. Bianca, you enjoy company more than you let on, you might actually enjoy this party. Caleb, oh yeah phonies sipping cocktails talking about golfing. Bianca, actually this is a charity event. Caleb, oh good rich phonies that's even worse. Bianca, you actually care about something other than your self. Caleb, I am here for one reason only and that is to get uncle Pete's company back from Chandler. Bianca, and to help Angie. Miranda runs through an Caleb grabs her, she laughs at him for pretending to be mean. Bianca, your going to look great in your tux. I really like Caleb. I think there is a lot of potential with him.


Marissa tells Krystal that she and JR are going to tell AJ they are getting divorced.

Annie and JR fighting. Annie says she's over him, choosing Scott was not the worst thing in my life, you were. Enter Scott, what did you do to her. JR, nothing just wished her a happy honeymoon. I'm so over this whole Scott, JR, Annie thing. JR says he's trying to get back to work but your wife won't let me. JR exits. Scott, I almost feel sorry for the guy, his wife left him and now he has nothing better to do than harass us. Annie, you really feel sorry for him. Scott, no.

Marissa tells Krystal AJ is her twin sisters son and she loves him. JR agreed to sharing custody. JR and Marissa tell AJ they are getting a divorce. AJ says moms always leave. Awwww poor kid.

Caleb invites Krystal to the party with him. Opal says Caleb is a stubborn ole mule just like his uncle.  Jake and  Amanda arrive at Tad's to help with the party.

Angie goes to Caleb's. She's talking to Miranda and her sight goes out. Miranda runs to get her magic glasses, as she runs by a vent you see smoke coming out. Caleb comes in house, Angie still can't see tells him he has to find something on David, tells him she will eventually go blind. He needs to find something to bring down David, he knows about her condition and if she makes one mistake David will fire her. She says we need to stop him, I smell smoke. Caleb says if there was smoke the alarms, I was working on the wiring. Angie, Miranda went up stairs to find a toy. Caleb tells Angie stay right there, runs up stairs screaming Miranda. Caleb comes downstairs with an unconscious Miranda says the fires out but there is a lot of smoke up there. Angie has called the fire department, Angie asks if she is breathing.Caleb says I don't know, they won't get here in time you need to do something. Okay so if Angie does CPR is she going to give Miranda her eye disease? She hasn't given it to Jessie kissing him, but yet she got from giving CPR to the boy and not wearing glove. ???????????

Annie calls JR to meet her in the park to tell him what happened in the dining room can't happen again. OIY why do they keep meeting to say they can't keep meeting. Enough already.

Scott is with Marissa says JR isn't going to quit until he makes him pay.

All My Children Recap Monday August 30, 2010

JR calling someone to tell them he's going to be running the Nano tech project while Scott is on honeymoon. Hum wonder if Scott knows this.

Kendall/Liza Kendall, whats the deal with you and Hayward? Liza, David is my client, why do you care. Kendall, Fusion has some legal matters that need handled. (Guess that means she's back at Fusion) Jack and Erica are out of country indefinitely (?? hope they are just on vacation) and the legal department is overwhelmed. I may not like you but your good at what you do. The only draw back is the David, could be  a conflict of interest. Liza, David is married to the co owner of Fusion. Kendall, yes but if it comes out that David had something to do with plane crash and your his lawyer that's a problem. Liza, there have never been any charges brought against David related to that crash. If I knew something about David and the plane crash I certainly wouldn't tell you, thanks but no thanks.

David tells Madison he could be her friend they both have same interests. Both want Ryan out of Greenlee's life.  Madison says everything is fine and none of his business. I can't make up my mind on Madison they keep changing whether she's good or bad so I can't trust her. Madison says she trusts Ryan, David should try it. David, I love Greenlee. Madison, yes but you don't trust her, so why are you married to her, better question why is she married to you.

Greenlee tells Ryan David has ramped up his search for the mechanic. Says she got herself into this marriage she'll get herself out. She doesn't want to put Ryan in the middle of things.

Annie and Scott in bed discussing beautiful wedding. Yuck! These two are nasty together. Phone rings someone calls Scott and tells him what JR is up too.

Marissa and JR discuss a peaceful divorce for AJ's sake. JR suggests they try the Tad and Krystal thing and that Marissa live there. I still don't like Marissa, just can't connect with her. She tells JR no to living there.

JR says he's going to concentrate on building family and company, offers Colby a job. JR says he's going to get rid of Scott. Colby says she won't choose sides, he's exactly like dad. JR says he's going after what he wants. Scott walks in and says and what's that? JR, I want you out of the company, house and my life. Scott, Annie and I are moving out as soon as we come back from honeymoon, as far as Chandler goes your stuck with me. Colby tries to stop fight. JR tells her get out, she slams the door and runs into Damon and Asher. (Thought: Maybe Asher is related to Scott, wasn't he adopted? I didn't watch back then, or maybe Asher is related to Cindy Scotts' mother)  Asher tells Colby she should take the job,  be in the middle of things to keep peace.

Annie/Marissa Cat fight over Marissa sleeping with Scott. These two are just sad.

Kendall updates Ryan he goes and runs into Liza, she tells him to back off too. Ryan tells Kendall Liza knows about the blackmail and he thinks Kendall should back off, Zach isn't going to like her being involved.

Liza tells David she is going to give the blackmail info back, she's not comfortable with it. David said he's thinking of destroying it. Greenlee's been trying really hard to prove she can be trusted, is committed to marriage. Liza, really. David, I'm tired of holding it over her head and I want her to love me for who I am.

Ryan tells Kendall he and Greenlee are done as soon as he gets her away from David. Says he can't do that again. (yeah, right)

Greenlee confronts David about talking to Madison. David, what if I destroy the evidence, I don't want to blackmail you, prove to me you love me and I'll get rid of all of it. Greenlee, I can do that.

Asher says his mom died when he was born, dad died in a car accident soon after, another relative later shipped  him off to boarding school. Says he has no real family.

Colby said she always wanted to work for Chandler she just never felt good enough and no one ever asked her. Decided to take job.

JR tells Annie she made a mistake and is going to have to wake up every morning with Scotts face on a pillow next to her. I'm so over Annie and her sleeping with everyone named Chandler who's next Colby?

All My Children (AMC) Friday Recap

Greenlee's avoiding going out with David, said basically she's tired of defending him. I don't know what's going on with David's hair today, getting kind of a crazed look.

Kendall going around telling everyone that she and Zach have decided to stay in Pine Valley.  Ryan is very excited to have Spike back.  Greenlee asked how soon before she comes back to Fusion, thanked her for helping her out with David. Then Kendall says lets talk about Ryan. Kendall asks Greenlee if she still loves Ryan and wants him back, Greenlee said they've both moved on. Kendall called her a liar. I think both are jealous of Madison as Madison and Ryan grow closer. Greenlee admits she just married David to make Ryan jealous.

Liza talked to Iris (Mayor) Liza wants District Attorney's job. Current DA leaving. Mayor told her don't give up on your day job. LOL

Asher - still don't know who he is connected too. Asher questions Damon about the Chandlers, Damon wonders why he's curious. Colby bought Damon a fancy new phone. Damon's looking for job and stopped taking his meds again.  Asher talked him into taking meds.

Liza and David run into each other again at restaurant. Discussing daughter troubles. It's looking like these two are going to get together. Colby entered and completely ignored Liza. David offered her tickets to Kaleb's party, said Liza asked him to pick them up. That's a big fat lie! Colby took tickets. Liza is thankful to David, says she wishes she could help with Marissa. Kendall's lurking outside the window watching David and Liza. Liza gives David a key to her place where she's keeping the evidence on Greenlee, in case he needs to get to it and she's not available..

Madison and Ryan make out. I used to have a tummy like Madison's, LOL maybe again someday. Knock on door, its Greenlee, interrupting.

Colby asks Damon to go to Kaleb's party says he can't cause he needs to work. Tells her to take Asher. Damon tells Asher he can meet Colby's hot friends and make sure no one hits on her. Damon express guilt over not having money to spend on girlfriend. Asher implies Damon should take advantage. Hum Asher has a tux in his closet and an invitation to party in his back pocket. I wonder if he's Kaleb's long lost son. When he showed up in town all he had was a back sack, think he had that tux wadded up in there?

Liza leaves restaurant runs into Kendall. (Remember Liza was trying to get with Zach before they left town and she slept with him when she first came back to town) Kendall offers to buy Liza a drink.  Liza voices concern Kendall's going to drug her drink then just comes out and asks what do you want from me.

Greenlee tells Ryan, David is just starting to trust her, Madison has to leave for work. Greenlee and Ryan go
'round about why she didn't call first, Greenlee said phone was off and she got worried. Ryan distrusts why she just showed up Greenlee says what do I have to do to prove I'm over you, you know how I feel, I'd tell you, hell I'd show you.

All My Children Today

I sure am glad Zach is back this week. I sure hope he stays. I had thought we lost him when the show moved because his real life wife (Marty on OLTL) had to stay in New York.

Does anybody know who this new kid Asher is? Is he another lost Chandler? I know Adam had another son that was going to donate marrow for JR, but I didn't think his name was Asher.

AMC Cast Updates Brooke's Back & More

Sofia D’Elia Black is done as Bailey but  Finn Wittrock  (Damon) the baby daddy has been put on contract.  humm?

The move to California has caused all the children to be replaced.

Those who will be recast are:

• Lucy Merriam (Emma Lavery),
• Alexa Gerasimovich (Kathy Martin),
• Jessica Slomovitz (Jenny Martin),
• Rory and Declan McTigue (Little Adam Chandler),
• Aidan and Connor Sharpe (Trevor Dillon),
• Triplets Alexander, Benjamin, and Caleb Eckstein (Spike Lavery),
• David and Damian Paseler (Baby Stuart).

Sorry to see that happen. These are great kids.

David Canary (Adam/Stewart) will not renew his contract.  Saw this was coming when they killed off Stewart.

The good news – will see a short return of  Cady McCain as Dixie, and on February 23 Julia Barr is returning as Brooke English.

Brooke’s return should give the writers all kinds of things to write about. The history with Erica & Tad alone makes my head spin.

Thorsten Kaye’s (Zach) is no more. (Crying) For those of you who don’t know, Thorsten is married to Susan Haskell in real life,  Marty Saybrooke Thornhart on One Life to Live which films in NY, unfortunately for us its a conflict. Maybe he will show up on OLTL as her new boyfriend, or he could return as Cole’s dad, maybe he really isn’t dead. Its a soap after all.

Alicia Minshew (Kendall) had taped additional scenes, but she is officially on maternity leave and there is no word if she will return at some point in the future.  What??? No Kendall???

Jill Larsen (Opal) who initially was not offered a deal to California, has now been put on contract. Yay!

Oh and welcome back to Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery).  You’ve been missed.

I think the Serial Killer/Burglar is Crystal’s new boyfriend. That would be just her luck, and wasn’t his ex in Boston.  I guess they’ll have the serial killer kill off everyone not moving to California.

I really just want to slap Annie.

I’m so glad the real Greenlee is back.  Now we need Bianca, Reese, Jack, and Lilly back.

Alicia Minshew aka Kendall needs to pop out that kid so her and Zach can return.  I hope all is well in babyland, but I can’t wait to see Kendall and Greenlee meet up again.  When Greenlee comes back and finds out what has happened while she was gone.  Look out!

Erica and Ryan just aren’t doing it for me.  Ryan and Greenlee belong together.

James Mitchell Dies

Palmer Cortlandt of the soap opera “All My Children” for nearly 30 years, died Friday at age 89 from Cardio Pulmonary Disease (COPD) complicated by pneumonia.

He will be missed.
