It’s almost the end of the season. Another storm is coming with 60 knot winds.

Netflix Price Increase - What Do You Think?
Wow what a way to run off customers!
Tuesday Netflix sent out an email saying they are increasing their rates as of September 1st.
Currently I have a plan that allows me 1 DVD rental and unlimited streaming for $9.99 a month. They are changing the structure of their pricing so as of September first, I would have to pay $7.99 for 1 DVD at a time and an additional $7.99 for the unlimited streaming. So the new rate is $15.98, which is a 60% rate hike.

Cassi Colvin and Daniele Donato are in the purple room. Cassi, Campaigning separately to do your deal or what ever, but it's just kinda turning into a sh$t storm. To walk up to him and start the conversation by saying he is campaigning against her. He's like well we have to campaign. I'm not campaigning against you I'm campaigning for myself.

The last show we left with Keith and Porsche up for nomination.
Keith is upset because Porsche is going up to HOH. What does he expect? Just because you chose her doesn't mean she wanted to be your partner. And you both just got nominated, the first people in the house, she wants to know why I'm sure. I would. Porsche is up in the HOH crying. OMG It's a game. They want her to throw the POV contest now. I kind of understand her concern about not wanting to throw the POV competition, because often it doesn't turn out well for pawns in this game.

The show starts with them playing a competition. Rachel Reilly is the host. Oh Yea! Sorry guys I'm just not a Rachel fan. I know some of you are. Oh no they aren't having a competition. Rachel was reading from a card that sounded like a competition. They have given them a game to practice. It reminds me of croquette. They have mallets, balls and a big board with green turf on it.. It reminds me of a putt putt layout. One of the corner's at the farthest end of the board is raised making the ball roll. And there is a triangle laying about in the middle to cause interference. The house guests are tying to figure out if the game is for HOH or food comp.

In Oahu at The Shack the Captains gather for their last episode this season of After The Catch. Dawn Tiki is singing. I just noticed at the beginning of the show where they show the boots. The guys are wearing their jackets. It shouldn't be cold in Hawaii, certainly not the cold like they are used to.
Captains Keith Colburn, Andy Hillstrand, John Hillstrand and Sig Hansen are at the table. Mike Rowe asks were you feeling redemption out there. Captain Sig, there is always redemption where there is a good there is a bad. Mike Rowe says to Jonathan I thought you were the philosopher. Captain Andy, he’s a psychologist. He said it is true he and Daniele have not spoken in three years except for once at his mothers. The encounter was brief and extremely awkward. He has left her voicemails, but got no response.

What Is Going On With Matt Bradley and Angela Shook?
Earlier this week I saw Angela Shook had friended Matt Bradley again on Facebook. I must confess, I got excited thinking they were working things out. I know he has been working her on Facebook. He must be getting through.
Then there is the part of me that hate's a man that cheat's. I'm so conflicted. I think these two really love each other, but Matt is an addict and screwed up big time. How much is Angela supposed to take? She is an ex-addict too, she can't be living with that and have it in the house around the kids.
She has herself and her kids to think about. I can't even begin to imagine how hard all of this is for her and the kids.

Betty Ford Dies
I just saw Betty Ford, Widow of President Gerald Ford died Friday. Yesterday now.
How sad. She was 93 years old.

Big Brother After Dark 13 Where Is Evel Dick?
Well before I went to bed this morning. I saw Zap2it reported that after "After Dark" ended this morning, the house feeds were turned off, and the house was told Evel Dick was gone.
CBS released a statement that Evel Dick Donato left because of personal reasons. They will address it on Wednesday's show. I wonder why they are waiting until Wednesday, and not saying something Sunday?

Momma Opal's Octopus Eggs Hatching Caught On Video
I like learning new things. Today I learned when Octopus' breed, the mom and dad both die. How sad.
Some local people diving in Puget Sound actually found this Octopus nest / den while diving and started watching it. They caught the hatching of the eggs on video. It's very cool and I thought I would share it with you.

I had thought the spinoff show Hillstranded that caused a lawsuit in October 2010 was canceled. Evidently it was not. It was finished and renamed Alaskan Monster Hunt.

I just saw an article on the ratings for Deadliest Catch last week. The article was bragging about Deadliest Catch being the #1 Primetime cable show in certain demographics and # 3 in all of television, behind The Voice and America's Got Talent. Deadliest Catch had 3 million viewers. Great news.
After The Catch was #5 in all of cable with 1.64 million viewers. Yea!!!
Now what I don't understand is how does someone watch Deadliest Catch and not watch After The Catch? Do we have Deadliest Catch viewers that don't know what After The Catch is?

Big Brother 13 Cast Released Finally
Well the cast is up but there are only 8 people on the page. What the heck is up with that? I went back and looked, we started with 13 last season.

Here We Go With Sig Hansen and Dancing With The Stars Again
Well soap fans know I'm no fan of ABC/Disney due to the canceling of the soaps. But I am a fan of Sig Hansen so here you go.
With the release of Cars 2, where Sig Hansen plays Crabbie, a very appropriate name, there is talk of Sig possibly being on Dancing With The Stars again. Now, Sig says he can't dance, but I say he does okay for a white boy. Well, except that once when he fell on the floor. hahaha Love ya, Sig!

Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew Season 5 Episode 1 Intake

The show starts out with clips of Celebrities with addiction problems. Dr. Drew says overdose deaths have increased by 114%. Wow! I have to wonder how much of that is prescription drugs.
Dr. Drew says sadly we lost two of our own this year. They put up pictures of Mike Starr and Jeff Conaway. There are four articles on Jeff Conaway so scroll down after clicking the link So sad. Dr. Drew says that only strengthens his resolve to fight this disease. I swear I don't know how Dr. Drew does it.

In anticipation of the new episode starting in a couple of hours I decided to check the VH1 site for the season 5 cast list and found one.
I always find it interesting who is going to show's up in Rehab. I mean you never want to see anyone in need of Rehab. It's that curiosity thing that gets you every time. I usually have never heard of 2/3 of them.

Peter Falk "Columbo" Has Died
Peter Falk better known at least to me as "Columbo" passed away at age 83 on June 23 in his home in Beverly Hills.
Peter Falk had advanced dementia and Alzheimer's Disease in the recent years.

Deadliest Catch After The Catch Episode 2 2011
"Relentless & Brutal"
We have Captains Andy Hillstrand, Johnathan Hillstrand, Keith Colburn, and Sig Hansen at the table.
They are discussing the storms. Captain Keith Colburn talked about how the storm was so concentrated and looked like a hurricane on the radar. Captain Johnathan said they get typhoons and cyclones cause they are on the western side. He said the eastern side gets hurricanes.
They show some clips of the guys on the boats getting nailed by waves, running from pots and just fighting the weather and then Captain Sig screaming Get down! as that big wave hit the wheelhouse. Mike Rowe asked Sig who he was talking to Sig said the camera man cause I didn't want him to die!

Big Brother 13 Casting News Still Nothing And We Wait
I keep checking for casting news. I saw something the other day that said we won't know until two or three days before the premier who is on the show. So I continue to wait.
Waiting of course is getting harder because they keep showing commercials for the new show. I usually fast forward through commercials but I've caught a couple. I noticed one of the commercials said this year "the biggest twist ever". So I've been trying to come up with ideas for what the twist could be that they haven't already done. Or do you think they would repeat an old twist?
